Hockey India has made tickets free for all matches of the upcoming Hockey India League 2024-25 to be held in Ranchi and Rourkela. This announcement has been made with the aim of making the sport accessible to the fans. Dilip Tirkey, Chairman of the HIL Governing Committee, said, 'This is a historic moment for hockey in India. Our goal is to bring the sport closer to the fans and inspire a new generation of players and supporters.' It is worth noting that the men's league will start on December 28 at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela, with the final on February 1, 2025.
