November: GST collection Rs 1.82 lakh crore

New Delhi | GST collection in November increased by 8.5% to Rs 1.82 lakh crore from the same month last year due to higher sales during festivals. GST collection in November last year was Rs 1.68 lakh crore. However, GST collection has decreased compared to the previous month. GST collection in October was Rs 1.87 lakh crore, which was the second best collection. The best collection so far was Rs 2.10 lakh crore in April 2024. According to the data, GST from domestic transactions increased by 9.4% to Rs 1.40 lakh crore, while revenue from tax on imports increased by about 6% to Rs 42,591 crore. Net GST collection during the current financial year stood at Rs 12.90 lakh crore. It was Rs 11.81 lakh crore during the April-November period last year.
