The accused should be presented in court through VC: Supreme Court

New Delhi. The Supreme Court has emphasized on the use of video conferencing for the appearance of the accused. An accused had petitioned that his hearing was postponed 30 times due to his absence. The bench has asked the Home Secretary of Maharashtra to give an affidavit in two weeks. The affidavit will have to state how much amount was released to provide VC facilities in courts and jails?
