Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim came out of jail on Wednesday on a 20-day parole. From Rohtak's Sunariya jail, he reached his ashram in Barnawa, Baghpat. Ram Rahim has been granted parole on the condition that he stays away from election activities. However, as soon as he came out of jail, the information committees of the Dera have ordered the Haryana congregation to hold a block-level Namcharcha on October 3. It is believed that the Dera may give indications of support to a political party in this. The state will go to polls on October 5. In Haryana, Dera Sacha Sauda has influence on 30 to 32 seats in Sirsa, Fatehabad, Kaithal, Hisar, Kurukshetra, Charkhi Dadri, Karnal, Panipat, Ambala, Bhiwani districts.
