Indian T20 team vice-captain Shubman Gill may be rested from the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh starting October 6. According to sources, the selectors can take this decision keeping in mind his important role in the upcoming Test season. The reason for this is that after two Tests with Bangladesh, the Indian team has to play three Tests with New Zealand and then the Border-Gavaskar Trophy of five Tests in Australia. Gill will be a regular part of the top order during this time and the selectors want to manage his workload.
