Mumbai India's star tennis player Rohan Bopanna will be making his debut in the Tennis Premier League this year. This is the sixth season of the league which will be played in India in December. After joining the league, Bopanna said, "I am excited to play in the Tennis Premier League, it is a good way to end the year." This time the scoring of the league will be done under the point system. Every team will be given 25 points for winning a match. The top 4 teams of the table will qualify for the semi-finals. A total of 8 teams will participate in the league.
