Panchkula DC and District Election Officer Dr. Yash Garg said that 455 polling stations have been set up in District Panchkula for the Assembly General Elections-2024. Of these, 225 polling stations are in Kalka Assembly and 230 in Panchkula Assembly. The District Election Officer said that 455 polling stations in the district have been set up at 265 locations. 95 urban polling stations and 130 rural polling stations have been set up in Kalka assembly constituency, 199 urban polling stations and 31 rural polling stations have been set up in Panchkula assembly constituency. Dr. Yash Garg said that booths with less than 1500 voters have been set up at polling stations in the district.
Among the 225 polling stations set up in Kalka assembly constituency, there are two polling stations with 1401 to 1500 voters. There are 17 polling stations with 1301 to 1400 voters, 19 polling stations with 1201 to 1300 voters, 28 polling stations with 1101 to 1200 voters. There are 153 polling stations with 300 to 1100 voters and six polling stations with less than 300 voters. He told that out of the 230 polling stations set up in Panchkula Assembly, there are two polling stations with 1401 to 1500 voters.
