Today, Freedom for All Americans is proud to support the launch of Freedom Massachusetts, the bipartisan campaign to update the state’s non-discrimination law to include gender identity protections for public accommodations— the places all of us are when not at home, work or school.
The campaign launches today with the support of three major corporations—Harvard Pilgrim, Google and Eastern Bank—that know discrimination isn’t just wrong, it’s bad for business too. In the coming weeks and months, Freedom Massachusetts will work to advance S.B. 735 and H.B. 1577, An Act Relative To Transgender Anti-Discrimination, to ensure that transgender Bay Staters are protected from discrimination in public spaces like restaurants, hotels and parks.
