Noormahal | The Dehati police have arrested 10 operatives of the gang who committed robbery on May 29 by taking Ramesh Chandra Pasi, father of utensil trader Shashi Bhushan Pasi and an 11-year-old child hostage, in Pasian locality of Jalandhar. Among the 13 accused, the mastermind Jaswinder Kumar alias Monu Gill had gone to Manila 20 days ago. There he hatched a robbery conspiracy with his cousin financier Gurpreet Singh Gopa resident Dhaliwal. 3 robbers resident of Amritsar had committed the incident along with Yuvraj. The absconding accused financier Gurpreet Singh has been caught in the night. The search is on for absconding robbers Gagandeep Singh Deep, resident of Bhuregil Amritsar, Manpreet Masih alias Monu. Police have recovered 5 bikes, 1.80 lakh, 2 pistols, 4 tramps, mobiles and gold rings used in the robbery.
