Tanda Udmur | Tanda police has arrested a woman from among the 3 accused drug peddlers responsible for the death of a youth due to drug overdose near Chandigarh Colony. Thana Mukhi Tanda SI Malkiat Singh said that the accused arrested by the team of ASI Mahindra Singh has been identified as Priya, a resident of Chandigarh Colony Tanda. The station in-charge said that the police had registered a case against Priya as well as Jamal Fatta and Sunny on the basis of the statement of Mangat Ram resident Johal, brother-in-law of Ravindra resident Miyani, who died of drug overdose. He had accused these three that Ravindra died due to overdose of drugs purchased from these accused. The police have now started further action after arresting one of the accused.
