Ludhiana | In Baba Colony, a doctor committed suicide by hanging himself under suspicious circumstances. When the family came to know about the incident, it was informed to the police. Police station Jodhewal has taken the dead body of the deceased Sandeep Verma (32) in custody and kept it for postmortem. According to SHO Gurmukh Singh, Dr. Sandeep had come for the clinic on Tuesday. The family was calling him in the afternoon, but he did not pick up the phone. When the family members reached the clinic, they saw that the shutter was closed. When he lifted the shutter, Sandeep's body was hanging inside. Police said that the reason for the suicide has not been ascertained and no suicide note has been found.
