The Jabalpur High Court quashed the PIL challenging the organization of Bageshwar Dham to be held at Paraswada in Balaghat on May 23 and 24. A division bench of Justice Vivek Aggarwal and Justice DK Paliwal said that no such facts have been presented in the petition to prove that the interest of tribals is being affected by the said event. The court dismissed the petition finding it unsustainable. Madhya Pradesh Adivasi Vikas Parishad President Dinesh Kumar Dhurve filed a public interest litigation and told that on May 23 and 24, Bageshwar Dham is to be organized in village Bhadukota of Paraswada. It was argued in the petition that this area is tribal dominated.
