The second semi-final of the Champions League was more exciting than the first. The reason was both the teams from the same city, i.e. Milan Derby. Inter won the first leg of the semi-final between AC Milan and Inter Milan at the San Siro Stadium. In this match, the fans of both the teams were domestic, so there was a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. It was the first time since 2005 that the Milan derby was played in the Champions League. Inter Milan won 2–0 in front of 85,000 fans. Both the goals were scored in the first 11 minutes.
