Gurdaspur | A 37-year-old youth from Umarpura village of Dorangla died after being swept away by the strong current of water in Patna Sahib. The news of the death sent a wave of mourning in the village. The last rites will be performed on Wednesday after the dead body reaches the village. Family members told that his son Jagan Singh was undergoing training in NDRF in Patna Sahib. Recently, during training in the river Ganga, his son was washed away due to the strong current of water. He died due to drowning in water. Significantly, Jagan Singh's father had also retired from the army. Jagan Singh is married and has a daughter. The family members of Jagan Singh, who said goodbye to the world at an early age, are in bad condition by crying.
