A massive explosion rocked a seven- storey building in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon. In this 16 people died and 120 were injured. Many people are trapped in the basement of the building due to which the death toll is expected to rise further. The cause of the blast is not yet known. Several fire tenders battled for a long time at the accident site to douse the fire that broke out due to the explosion and to save lives. Bomb Disposal Unit of Rapid Action Battalion also reached. The building housed several stores of sanitary products. Along with this, there was also a branch of BRAC Bank whose windows were shattered by the blast.
