Dangal and Ludo actress Fatima Sana Shaikh is all set to play Indira Gandhi in the upcoming film Sam Bahadur. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is based on the life of former Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. It stars actor Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw and actress Sanya Malhotra as his wife Seelu Manekshaw.
In a conversation, Fatima said, 'I am excited about this film only because of Meghna. During my meeting with her, I learned that she is a very sensitive and knowledgeable woman. She knows her characters very deeply. I have always been curious to know about filmmaking and what could be better than working with Meghna for this. So far we have done a look test for this film.
