Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched MIUI 12.5 in China in December 2020 and the company started launching it globally from February 2021. Xiaomi had added a great feature "RAM Expansion" in MIUI 12.5, which allows smartphone users to increase their phone's RAM virtually, thereby improving the performance of their device. The company had launched Vivial RAM feature only for some selected devices so that LOW-RAM device users can increase the RAM of their phone. This feature first comes with Mi 10 Ultra before a wider release to the Xiaomi devices and after that Redmi 10 and POCO F3 support this function globally. If your device is running on MIUI 12.5 then you can enable Virtual RAM feature from your phone and increase the internal memory of your phone to improve the performance of your device. Virtual RAM means that if your device's RAM is 1GB, then you can expand it to 3GB or more.
Steps to enable RAM Extension Feature in Xiaomi MIUI 12.5
Step 1: Go to device Settings
Step 2: Scroll Down and click on the Additional Settings
Step 3: Below you will see Memory Extension
Step 4: Enable the toggle option, and you're done with yiur RAM extension
