Xiaomi had launched the RAM expansion feature for some of its selected models so that Xiaomi users could increase the low RAM of their device and this would make their device's performance even better. RAM expansion is also called virtual RAM so if your device's RAM is 4GB then you can expand it to 11GB and if your device's RAM is 6GB then you can expand it to 13GB but recently Xiaomi has released a list of some models on its official website from which the RAM expansion feature has been removed permanently.
Xiaomi has launched the RAM expansion feature on the selected models of Mi, Redmi, and POCO smartphones that have received MIUI 12.5 or above update but as per @Xiaomiui, Xiaomi has permanently removed the Memory Extention feature on some devices. like Mi 11 Ultra, Redmi K40, etc. with the Android 12 update but Mi 10 series still has this memory expansion feature.
