Nicholas Burns, nominated by President Joe Biden as the next US ambassador to China, has sent a clear message to India's trickster neighbor. He has clearly said that China has been aggressive towards India on the Himalayan border and if it does not follow the rules, then America will have to hold it accountable. Burns told members of the US Senate Committee that the US would challenge China where it needed to. Whenever China takes action against American values and interests, threatens the security of America or its allies, or undermines the rules-based international order, America will act against it. "China has been aggressive against India on the Himalayan border, against Vietnam, the Philippines and others in the South China Sea, against Japan in the East China Sea," Burns said.
