Earlier this year, filmmaker Karan Johar announced the launch of actor Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor. Now it is reported that Shashank Khaitan will direct this film. Shashank had directed Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor's debut film Dhadak. Shanaya's film was set to shoot in July, but due to the second wave of Corona, the shooting had to be postponed. Now normal life is back on track. The shooting of films is also being done in a hurry. In such a situation, Dharma Production is now preparing for the shooting of this film.
Apart from Shanaya, debutantes Gurfateh Singh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani will be launched from the film. Lakshya was earlier going to debut with Dostana 2. According to reports, for the last seven months, the three actors did many acting workshops. The shooting of the film will start in Mumbai from December. Earlier this film was to be directed by Paras Chakraborty and produced by Shashank. But now Shashank will direct. Shashank has recently wrapped up shooting for the untitled film starring Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani. The location of Shanaya's film will be finalized soon.
