Ajit was diagnosed with cancer just two weeks after getting the show. Ajit Pal says, 'When I read its story, I felt exactly like my parents. After that I went to Ajay Rai, the producer of the show, to let me direct the show. Coincidentally for some reason, the director who was directing it earlier declined and I got the show.
Two weeks later, I came to know that I had throat cancer. I thought I would have to leave the show for the surgery, but the producer showed a big heart. He said that you get the surgery done comfortably, you will direct the show. I had cancer surgery on 17th February and within a month of that, I started shooting for the show from 15th March. It will release on Sony Liv on 15 October.
