A new study has been done on the face mask in the fight against coronavirus (Covid-19). It claims that wearing sweat masks during exercise can be safe for healthy people. This suggests that wearing masks in indoor gyms can prevent the spread of corona infection among people.
According to the study published in the European Respiratory Journal, the researchers made this conclusion based on tests conducted on a group. Participants were asked to perform an exercise first by wearing a mask and then without wearing a mask.
This was followed by a detailed investigation to assess the effects of breath, cardiac activity, and exercise. Researchers found some differences in the two conditions. However, this did not reveal any threat to health. This study was conducted by the Milan University of Italy and Monjino Cardiology Center.
