Social media giant Facebook has removed a post by US President Donald Trump for the first time. Trump said in it that children are almost immune to fighting COVID-19.
Facebook found it against its policy of misleading information and removed it within four hours. However, by then, half a million people had seen it. Twitter and YouTube have also removed the link of this video from their site, giving the same argument.
The video of the US President's interview given to Fox News Channel was put on Facebook from the 'Trump Campaign Account'. In this, Trump had said this while advocating the opening of the school. However, most experts do not agree with Trump's opinion.
Facebook policy spokesman Antti Stone said, "This is misleading information and is against our policy."
