To prevent cybercrime, Haryana Police has decided to set up a cyber response center in every district. All cyber response centers will be equipped with modern equipment.
Cyber related complaints including bank fraud, payment gateway misuse, Facebook, and Twitter will be dealt through these centers. According to Director General of Police Manoj Yadav, there has been a spurt in cybercrime in the Corona era, because such fraudsters are using technology to cheat people.
The newly created centers will be further strengthened with the deployment of specialized cyber personnel. The Resident Welfare Society will visit colleges, schools, and colonies to educate people about crime and its precautions. Cybersecurity awareness programs will also start.
